Program Description

Event Details

Want to know more about two of Maine’s most magical shore and seabirds? Come learn about Piping Plovers and Least Terns, two endangered species that call Maine’s southern beaches home for the summer. Find out why conservation work is so important for these species, and how beachgoers can help share the shore.

All ages welcome!

Christie Hull is the Outreach Coordinator for Maine Audubon’s Coastal Birds Project. She is proud to be a part of a project that actively works to protect two endangered bird species, the Piping Plovers and Least Terns, and could easily talk about the birds she works with all day!
