The #OurStoryIsOne celebrates the resilience of Iranian women of all faiths and backgrounds.
This June marks 40 years since the tragic execution of 10 Baha'i women in Shiraz, Iran, for choosing to stand up for their beliefs in justice and equality. Their story continues to echo in the resilient women of Iran who walk the same path and make the same choice.
Parivash Rohani is a member of the Iranian Baha’i community. She will be at the library to share her experiences and showcase art from the campaign.
Boston-based artist, Faye Dupras, will then lead participants in creating a collective quilt that illustrates resilience.
