Program Description

Event Details

The library will present a staged reading of Alfred Thomas Catalfo & Morgan Webster Dudley's award-winning feature screenplay, Oil and Water, based on the true story of the three women who led the challenge and ultimate takedown of Aristotle Onassis and his attempt to build an oil refinery on New Hampshire's Great Bay.

This reading is directed by Don Goettler, who helped bring to life The Clerks of Kittery in 2023.

If you want to learn more about the fight to save the Great Bay, check out a copy of Small Town, Big Oil by David W. Moore.
