Event Details

Alison and John Mackinnon of Eliot will give a dynamic presentation on their experiences traveling and volunteering through Mongolia.

Highlights of the tour include Erdene Zuu, the oldest surviving Mongolian monastery, and Kharkorin, once the capital of the Mongol Empire.

The Mackinnons will also talk about their service work alongside indigenous spiritual leaders in an orphanage and among local elders. They will bring awareness to the environmental and social challenges brought on by climate change, pollution and globalization.
