Program Description

Event Details

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Rice Public Library is partnering with the York Public Library and Finding Our Voices, a Maine grassroots organization to provide information on domestic abuse to the public. A panel of domestic-abuse survivors will share their stories and then lead a community conversation centered around emotional abuse and the impact on children.

This will be preceded by powerful short films on the topic.

This event will be held at York Public Library.
